Yesterday's presidential debate confirmed what many Americans have known for some time, that Senator John Kerry is the taller...stronger...faster presidential candidate.

Now Tall Guys, you ask, there’s got to be a better reason to vote for someone other than height? Well, let’s just address a few tall issues that relate to us all:
· Being taller means that smaller guys often pick fights with us just for being tall, to try to prove their might. But we’re level headed enough to either walk away when there’s no serious threat, or easily give ‘em a pounding if they hit us first.
· We have to be very careful with our elbows, as they can be used as deadly weapons against those less statuesque. Similarly, we must be very careful of our deployment of military forces, and only use them to defend ourselves when absolutely necessary.
· Tall people are natural leaders because we can be easily seen in a crowd.
· Taller people are very sensitive to the feelings of others. We genuinely feel guilty blocking someone’s view at concerts or movies. Larger than average height allows a President to maintain a position of power, strength and respect in the world, with enough sensitivity to not block the sovereign rights of other countries or the rights of individuals.
· Being tall gives a person a larger overall perspective of the world. Our concerns are not relegated to what’s directly in front of us. We are finely tuned to the economic conditions that affect everyone around us.
· Tall people tend to have very good foresight, as we can see trouble coming much sooner than the person of average height. This allows us to catch a falling job market, much in the same way we would catch a frisbee coming straight at our heads.
· Being tall puts us at a disadvantage of having difficulty finding adequate clothing to fit our larger frames, just as the average American has difficulty finding adequate health care coverage.
· We are very sensitive to climate change, given our close proximity to the shrinking ozone layer and atypical weather patterns.
· Tall people recognize the need to invest in better environmental technology, because most of us can’t fit in today’s hybrid cars.
